Contains natural chicory root, encouraging beneficial gut flora and immune function. Uniquely Extruded to ensure optimum digestibility, safety and palatability of the meats included in ferret origins.
Growing and Mature Ferrets: Daily feed quantity of Ferret Origins should be unlimited. Fresh Meat should be provided twice weekly as a treat.
Please note that the above feeding recommendations should be used as a guide only.
Fresh meat on the bone is an excellent addition to the diet of your Ferret up to twice per week, though care should be taken to ensure the entire portion of fresh meat is consumed at once as ferrets can ‘hide’ fresh food which can quickly spoil in the enclosure.
Be sure to check with your veterinarian or contact Vetafarm for more specific information if your animal is underweight or over weight, or if your Ferret has special dietary needs due to a health conditions.
Note: Ferrets are obligate carnivores and therefore should not be fed fruit or vegetable matter in any significant quantities
Other ways to feed: Ferret Origins can also be used as a small part of a diet made up of a majority of fresh meats, however the meat portion of the diet should be sprinkled with Vetafarm Predamax Carnivore supplement to ensure the diet remains balanced.
