Description

API® ALGAE EATER WAFERS contains a rich blend of algae, plus Omega 3 fatty acids, to help promote healthy growth and development. Alfalfa, a good source of fiber for optimal digestive function, is also included in our high-quality formula. API ALGAE EATER WAFERS is designed specifically for algae-eating fish, and contains a unique, nutritionally-enhanced protein to ensure easy uptake of nutrients for maximum absorption. Fish more readily use the nutrients in our high-quality formula, and as a result, release up to 30% less ammonia than the leading competitor for cleaner, clearer water.

Sizes

37gm, 105g, 181gm

Feed twice a day. To accommodate the slower feeding habits of most algae eaters, feed the amount of food your fish will consume within two hours.

  • Can API ALGAE EATER WAFERS cause an algae bloom in an aquarium?

API ALGAE EATER WAFERS are not known to create algae blooms, but if any uneaten food remains at the bottom of your tank, the waste may create algae. To prevent this from happening, remove all uneaten food from your aquarium.

  • Can API ALGAE EATER WAFERS be used in a tank containing shrimp and snails without causing any adverse effects?

API ALGAE EATER WAFERS will not harm your shrimp or snails, but they will need a different food source to meet their nutritional needs.
