AUSTRALIAN RAILWAY MODELS C38 STREAMLINER 3803
The third locomotive in the C38 line, produced for the New South Wales Government Railways (NSWGR) agency in August of 1943 by Clyde Engineering. The C38 class were the only New South Wales locomotives to use the Pacific 4-6-2 wheel arrangement and were the last steam locomotives in the state to be built for passenger train operation. The 3803 remained in service until February 1968 (over 24 years) and was the last Streamlined C38 to be withdrawn.
