Dimming stops the need for the bulb to turn on and off constantly, extending its life and providing a more realistic heat source for your reptile or amphibian. The dual plug allows the fitment of both a heat source and other equipment such as a light, ventilaton or misting system to run off a timer.

We Recommend Heat Emitters

For the best quality heating for your reptile, we recommend the use of an Infrared Heat Emitter (different from red heat bulbs). The carbon fibre or spiral heat emitters have had the best results for effective heating. These are the most efficient form of heating and do not emit any light. For more information, contact us.
