Description
The Hyrtlii Eel-Tail Catfish (Neosilurus hyrtlii) is a native Australian freshwater species found in slow-moving rivers, creeks, and billabongs across northern Australia. Recognisable by its long, slender body and eel-like tail, it typically grows up to 30 cm. This peaceful bottom-dweller prefers tanks over 200 litres with soft substrate and plenty of hiding spots such as driftwood and rocks.
