Description
Comet Goldfish are a hardy, single-tailed goldfish known for their long, deeply forked tails, active behavior, and colorful appearance.
Goldfish thrive in cool freshwater conditions, preferring temperatures between 18°C and 23°C and a neutral pH range of 6.5 to 7.5.
Color: Common colors include orange, red, yellow, white, and red-and-white (Sarasa Comet). Brown and chocolate variants exist, with some changing color as they age.
Size and Lifespan
Comet Goldfish can grow up to 30–35 cm in length if provided with adequate space and optimal water conditions. Lifespan ranges from 10 to 20 years, with some individuals living longer in well-maintained outdoor ponds.
