Description
Hawker undertook feasibility testing of a cannon armed Hurricane MK I(L1750)fitted with a Swiss 20MM OerliKon gunin fairing mounted under each wing. The fist flight was made on 24 May 1939, with the aircraft being tested at A&AEE, and operational trials being conducted by No 151 Squadron.
