Tropical Coco Peat is made from compressed coconut husk fibre. This ecological substrate is ideal for increasing humidity in the terrarium and is totally safe for frogs and burrowing animals. Coco Peat can also be used as bedding in your desert species habitat. This is a 100% natural substrate. It can even be used as a nutritional planting substrate for live plants in a vivarium. Place the Tropical Coco Peat brick into a large container.

HYDRATE:
Pour approx. 5 litres of water and leave to soak up and expand for approx. 20 minutes. This will make 8–9L of coco peat. Squeeze excess water to suit use. Leave damp for tropical species. Sun dry for desert species.
